Langhe Nebbiolo
The Langhe Nebbiolo is a wine of extraordinary elegance and refinement, an authentic expression of the Nebbiolo grape variety cultivated in the hills of the Langhe. The vineyards, with an average age of 30 years, thrive in soils composed of clay, silt, and sand, with an average yield of 70 quintals per hectare.
The winemaking process is carried out in red, with submerged cap maceration and daily pump-overs, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures for 8 days. The malolactic fermentation, which follows the alcoholic fermentation, contributes to its softness and roundness.
The aging of the wine in small oak barrels for 4 months, followed by another 2 months in the bottle, further enhances its characteristic aromas and flavors.
The Langhe Nebbiolo presents itself with a bright ruby red color and intense garnet, enriched with slightly violet reflections. On the nose, broad notes of cherry, jammy plum, and raspberry stand out. The taste is full and harmonious, savory and warm, with a persistent, pleasant, and slightly dry finish.
Considered an ideal wine for the entire meal, Langhe Nebbiolo shines best with light and not overly savory dishes, where its complexity and structure can shine without overpowering the food flavors. A tribute to the winemaking mastery of the Langhe, reflecting the generosity and richness of this territory.
